Reproductive Medicine Center: What We Do
C.M.R. is an advanced facility for Reproductive Medicine, specializing in diagnosis and treatment of couple infertility, which constitutes the center's primary activity.
The facility also allows for gynecological specialist visits for non-infertile patients, pregnancy check-ups, and hysteroscopy.
Reproductive Medicine is not only Medically Assisted Procreation; at CMR, we also have other "tools" available to achieve pregnancy: gynecological, andrological, and endocrinological drug therapies.
The activity of Medically Assisted Procreation involves providing couples with 1st and 2nd level treatments, both homologous and heterologous.
The patient undergoes a cycle of ovarian function stimulation followed by insemination using the partner's treated semen, which is generally deposited at the supracervical level, specifically intrauterine.
For this reason, the treatment may also be referred to as IUI (in accordance with the international English term: Intra-Uterine Insemination) in reference to the execution technique.
The entire PMA process is managed in accordance with the applicable requirements for Medically Assisted Procreation.
